NATIONAL PILGRIMAGE TO CARFIN This year’s National Pilgrimage to Carfin in honour of St Margaret of Scotland takes place today (5 September) with Mass at 3pm. The principal celebrant will be Cardinal Keith O’Brien who will be joined by the other members of the Bishops’ Conference. Archbishop Mario Conti will give the homily. We hope many parishioners will arrange to be at Carfin for the Pilgrimage. Because of this there will be no Sung Evening Prayer with Benediction this month, but the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed as usual after the 12.00 Mass until 5.30.
